all with the similar goal of creating
beautiful hair for all of our wonderful
clients, whilst enjoying our work

Sam
Sam has been in the industry
for 14 years, managing some
salons before opening
samuel paul in 2015.
Sam has a passion for creating
beautiful, natural hair, as well
as doing lovely long styles and
colours, and working with curly
hair to achieve stunning results.
Sam enjoys developing strong
relationships with his clients,
making them feel good, and
makes sure they are always having
a good laugh!
Outside of work Sam loves the
outdoors, riding his horses,
travel and good food!
Carron
Carron trained in Australia on
the Gold Coast, with a large
hairdressing company “STEFANS”,
who had salons throughout
Queensland and NSW. She
achieved apprentice of the year
and went on to manage several
salons for “STEFANS”.
On returning to NZ, she worked
for Peter Sharman Hair Design
in Newmarket and Titirangi.
This was followed by a position
with Loreal NZ.
Carron believes consultation is key
to the client and stylist achieving
the desired outcome.
Carron loves to spend time on her
Lifestyle block, in the garden
and with her horses!
Andrew
Andrew has been
hairdressing for 40 years, and
owned his own salon for 20.
After a small break to try
something new some years ago,
Andrew worked in real estate for
a while. He then returned
to his passion of hairstyling
and still enjoys it every day!
Andrew has built life-long
friendships with clients over
the years, and he still enjoys
meeting new people.
In his free time, Andrew likes to
keep fit, enjoy the beach
and go horse riding!
Erica
Erica has been in the industry for
40 years, working here in New
Zealand as well as in London,
Japan and Greece.
For many years Erica has spent her
time training apprentices, which
she is hugely passionate about. For
the past 6 years she has been a
colour ambassador for Paul
Mitchell NZ, she also comes with
plenty of local knowledge as she
owned Frizura Hair Studio in
Kumeu for 9 years.
Now working back in the salon, she
loves cutting and colouring, but
most of all making her clients feel
comfortable and relaxed. Don’t
hesitate to ask for a “Quiet
Appointment” no unnecessary
chatter, just time for you to totally
relax and enjoy your hair
appointment.
When not at the salon, Erica loves
time with her family and her two
fur babies.
You will find Erica in the salon on a
Friday and Saturday, where she
looks forward to looking after you
and your hair.
Melissa
Melissa has been in the
hairdressing Industry for 13
years. Within this time
she has gained a wealth of
knowledge and experience.
Melissa has grown up locally
and worked for many years in
the area.
Melissa is extremely passionate
about creating beautiful soft
blondes, lived in natural
colours and all things
hairdressing!
Melissa takes the time to
really listen and create a plan
to Achieve perfect colour
tailored just for you!
Adam
Adam is Sam’s French Bulldog,
who spends his days at the
salon, hiding from the sun in
summer and following it around
in the cooler months.
Adam loves a scratch, if you
start, he won’t want you to
stop! He is also a fan of a
cuddle and anything that
resembles food.
An-all-around good dog, we
are lucky to have him with us
in the salon!
Alison
Alison completed her training in
Australia and went on to manage
some of the largest salons
throughout Australia.
On relocating to NZ, Alison
became a colour technical advisor
before establishing her salon in
Parnell.
With specialties including technical
colouring, textured styling and
rejuvenating hair health, Alison
believes that fully understanding
her clients needs and hair health,
assists in achieving a fabulous
result!
Being inspired by people, Alison
enjoys making her clients feel great
about themselves and then leaving
the salon knowing their hair looks
amazing!
