Samuel

Director, Senior Hair stylist

With over 16 years in the hair industry, Sam opened Samuel Paul in 2015 after managing several successful salons.

He specialises in creating beautiful, natural-looking hair, from effortless blondes and dimensional colour to precision cuts and styling. Sam also loves working with curly hair, helping clients embrace and enhance their natural texture.

For Sam, great hair starts with great relationships. He's passionate about making every appointment relaxed, enjoyable and personalised—and making sure there's always plenty of laughter along the way.

When he's not in the salon, you'll usually find him outdoors riding his horses, travelling, or searching for great food.

Carron

Senior Stylist

Carron began her hairdressing career on Australia's Gold Coast, training with the renowned Stefan salon group, which operated throughout Queensland and New South Wales. During her apprenticeship, she was awarded Apprentice of the Year before progressing into salon management across several Stefan salons.

After returning to New Zealand, Carron continued her career with Peter Sharman Hair Design in Newmarket and Titirangi before joining L'Oréal New Zealand, further expanding her industry knowledge and expertise.

Carron believes that every great result begins with a thorough consultation. By taking the time to understand each client's lifestyle, goals and expectations, she creates personalised results that leave clients feeling confident and cared for.

When she's not in the salon, Carron enjoys spending time on her lifestyle block, tending to the garden, and riding her horses.

Andrew

Senior Stylist

With over 40 years in the hair industry, Andrew brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to every appointment. He successfully owned and operated his own salon for 20 years before taking a short break to explore a career in real estate.

It wasn't long before Andrew realised that hairdressing was where his passion truly belonged, and he's been happily back behind the chair ever since.

Over the years, Andrew has built lasting friendships with many of his clients and loves welcoming new faces into the salon. His relaxed, friendly nature helps every client feel comfortable from the moment they sit down.

When he's not in the salon, Andrew enjoys keeping active, spending time at the beach, and travelling.

Erica

Senior Stylist

With over 40 years of experience, Erica has worked in New Zealand as well as London, Japan and Greece, bringing a wealth of knowledge to every appointment.

She has a passion for cutting, colouring and creating a relaxed salon experience. Erica also spent many years training apprentices and has proudly been a Paul Mitchell New Zealand Colour Ambassador.

If you'd prefer a little peace and quiet during your visit, simply ask for a Quiet Appointment—a chance to relax while enjoying personalised haircare.

When she's not in the salon, Erica enjoys spending time with her family and her two fur babies. You'll find her in the salon on Fridays and Saturdays.

Emma

Senior Stylist

With over 20 years of experience, Emma has worked in salons across Auckland's CBD and Sydney before returning to her local community.

Emma believes that listening is the foundation of every great appointment. By understanding each client's lifestyle, goals and challenges, she creates personalised styles that are both beautiful and easy to maintain. She also enjoys sharing advice on products and styling techniques, empowering clients to care for their hair long after they leave the salon.

Passionate about healthy hair, Emma loves creating beautiful colour and finding the perfect cut to suit every individual while always maintaining the integrity of the hair.

Emma looks forward to welcoming you into her chair and providing a relaxed, personalised experience that leaves you feeling your very best.
